Parks Located in Clay Township

Reservations for the Hopeland Community Park, Snyder Community Park Pavilion #1 or Snyder Community Park Pavilion #2 can be made by contacting the Clay Township Municipal Office at least one week prior to desired date.

Hopeland Community Park, Hopeland Road, Lititz

Consisting of approximately nine acres, this park is jointly owned and maintained by Clay Township and the Hopeland United Methodist Church and contains a pavilion with seating for up to 100, restrooms, a fireplace (bring your own wood), ball field, volleyball court and basketball court.

Rental Fee: $65.00 Clay Twp Residents, $85.00 Non-Residents, $90.00 Commerical/Non-Profit in Twp, $145.00 Commerical/Non-Profit outside of Twp. Rental fees are Non-Refundable.

Snyder Community Park Pavilion #2, Snyder Lane, Ephrata

Located along Snyder Lane, this park is owned and maintained by the Township and consists of approximately 15 acres.  It contains a pavilion with a kitchen (refrigerator and sink) with serving windows and seating for up to 100.  Also located in the park are public walking trails, public playground area, public restrooms, public athletic fields and ball fields (Please note:  the ball fields may be used during a rental if there is not a scheduled event that day but are not available to reserve).

Rental Fee:      $90.00 Clay Twp Residents, $110.00 Non-Residents, $125.00 Commerical/Non-Profit in Twp, $220.00 Commerical/Non-Profit outside of Twp. Rental fees are Non-Refundable.

Snyder Community Park Pavilion #1, Clay School Road and Snyder Lane, Ephrata

Located along Clay School Road and Snyder Lane, this park is owned and maintained by the Township and consists of approximately six acres.  It contains a pavilion with a full kitchen(stove, refrigerator and sink) with serving windows and seating for up to 100, restrooms, a ball field and swing sets.

Rental Fee:    $80.00 Clay Twp Residents, $100.00 Non-Residents, $110.00 Commerical/Non-Profit in Twp, $195.00 Commerical/Non-Profit outside of Twp. Rental fees are Non-Refundable.

Charity Gardens Community Park

 Located along Agape Drive in the Charity Gardens Development off Hackman Road.  The park consists of approximately six acres with a ball field, multipurpose field and playground area.

Other recreational activities

Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area/State Game Lands #46
Owned and operated by the State Game Commission and consists of approximately 2,400 acres.  Provides opportunities for hunting, fishing, hiking, nature appreciation and picnic areas.  (www.pgc.state.pa.us)

Horseshoe Trail
Located in the northern portion of the Township and passes through the State Game Lands and the Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area.

Ephrata Area Recreation Center
Located in Ephrata Borough and offers a wide variety of active recreational activities.
