At the August 12, 2024, Clay Township Board of Supervisors meeting, Supervisor Gary Landis advised the Board of his intent to resign as Supervisor for Clay Township and as the Clay Township representative Board member for the Ephrata Area Joint Authority, effective August 30, 2024. Gary also served on the Agricultural Preserve Board for many years.

Gary leaves after serving just over ten (10) years. His successor will serve until December 31, 2025.

The Board of Supervisors is required to appoint a successor by October 14, 2024. Candidates must have resided in the Township continuously for at least one year prior to their appointment.
